Candor Envirothon Team in
Flagstaff, Arizona |
|
The Candor High School Envirothon team, representing New York State at
the Cannon Envirothon in Flagstaff, Arizona, has finished in an
impressive fourth place overall! Candor competed in a field of teams
representing all 50 states and 10 Canadian provinces. Candor continues
its impressive showing at the North American event, which saw it place
seventh overall in 2007. |
|
The Cannon Envirothon is an intensively competitive event, in which teams
must demonstrate expertise in Aquatics, Forestry, Soils, Wildlife, and
Alternative Energy. Candor students and their coaches spend countless
hours throughout the year preparing for the event, and exhibit an
admirable dedication to the sciences. Congratulations to all team members and coaches! Your success and the
example that you set make us proud. |
